Emergency Procedures & Evacuation training provides employees with the knowledge they need to respond quickly and safely to workplace emergencies. Whether it’s fire, chemical spills, gas leaks, medical emergencies, or violent incidents, every worker must understand what to do when seconds matter.
This course introduces basic emergency management principles, evacuation plans, fire prevention, alarm systems, and emergency communication protocols. It aligns with Canadian fire codes and OHSA emergency planning obligations.
Key topics include:
– Types of emergencies and required responses
– Evacuation routes, muster points, and signage
– Alarm types and how to respond appropriately
